Fall Layout

Hello everyone! Today I have a layout to share quickly. I haven't taken any close ups, but you can see everything pretty well.

I used the Carta Bella Fall Blessings collection. For the leaves at the top and bottom of the layout, I used a stamp set, Versa Mark ink and multiple colors of embossing powders. Then cut them all out by hand. I did the same with the leaves that are falling on the page.

I cut the title banner out of the borders sheet, and cut the large journaling spot out of the 4x6 cards.

Always & Forever Layout

Hi everyone! Today is my first day back posting to my blog since my dad passed away. I find it a little comforting to scrapbook pictures of him. It does make me sad, but it helps.

Last week on Facebook, Pebbles Inc. was doing a giveaway and I won the whole We Go Together collection. So I made a layout for my mom for Valentine's Day.

I did a small split background. Then did another split in the middle with strips of paper and American Crafts glitter tape.

The collection came with these rosette hearts that are so cute! I used a punch and layered some hearts on top with an enamel candy heart. One of the hearts is a self inking stamp that was part of the collection. I stamped it down a few times and cut them out. I love the faded look it gives when stamped.

The I love You is an epoxy word that I put down right on the picture then used the Thickers for the rest of the title. I layered up hearts and stapled them together with one epoxy heart on top and placed them in three different places on the layout.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!

Elle's Studio Black Friday Grab Bags

Hi everyone! I finally got my Elle's Studio Grab Bags from Black Friday after they were lost in the mail for a few days. I started using them right away! The grab bags were STUFFED with awesome goodies!

I had a picture from about 2011 I think of my boyfriend and I after we made a homemade slip n' slide in our backyard.
I love using bright colors for outdoor layouts. Split backgrounds are always fun but the middle of the layout need something a little more so I layered a couple pieces of paper and used a border punch from Fiskars on one of them.

Outlining papers always brings everything together so I outlined everything except for the larger background paper.

There are seven clusters of embellishments total including my title. They're from various collections from Elle's Studio.

In this close up I'm showing some of the clusters up close and the thread that I tucked underneath in random places.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week!

My Little Cuddle Butt

Hi ladies! I'm doing a little late night scrapbooking tonight! I recently dog sat for my brother and my aunt. I ended up having 5 dogs in my house at once, and a cat. This is Chichi, my brother's mini pincher. She always wants to cuddle, and I love it!

I pulled out my Scraptastic kit from last month to do this layout.

The star sequins from Studio Calico have those little holes in the middle. I didn't want them to show so I used some Queen and Company brads from my stash.

I call Chichi "My little cuddle butt" all the time, that's where my title came from. The "Cuddle Butt" font is a stamp set from Scraptastic called High Strung. I also used The Girl stamp set to stamp the circles with the arrow, and placed them in some of my layers.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week!

Sunday Funday

Today I have a layout to share that I am quite proud of! I used the August Scraptastic Boys of Summer kits.

Everything in this kit goes so well together! The arrow brads, enamel dots and the wood tags are the only thing not from the kits.

This layout was made for the Scraptastic birthday celebration using the Bingo challenge. I chose the last line on the bingo card which was Use wood veneer/grain, Enamel dots, Arrows, Scrap about your favorite thing, and Use multiple fonts in your title. I chose 3 different Thicker fonts to use including a corrugated one in black. It didn't stand out like the other fonts so I used my white Uni Ball pen to outline and color in the lines.

For the wood grain part I used a wood veneer car that came in the kit and also I bought some wooden tags at Hobby Lobby to put behind the car. I used one of the border stamps from Scraptastic to stamp along the top and bottom of the largest paper.

Thank you for stopping by to take a look! Have a great week!
