Always & Forever Layout

Hi everyone! Today is my first day back posting to my blog since my dad passed away. I find it a little comforting to scrapbook pictures of him. It does make me sad, but it helps.

Last week on Facebook, Pebbles Inc. was doing a giveaway and I won the whole We Go Together collection. So I made a layout for my mom for Valentine's Day.

I did a small split background. Then did another split in the middle with strips of paper and American Crafts glitter tape.

The collection came with these rosette hearts that are so cute! I used a punch and layered some hearts on top with an enamel candy heart. One of the hearts is a self inking stamp that was part of the collection. I stamped it down a few times and cut them out. I love the faded look it gives when stamped.

The I love You is an epoxy word that I put down right on the picture then used the Thickers for the rest of the title. I layered up hearts and stapled them together with one epoxy heart on top and placed them in three different places on the layout.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!

Elle's Studio Black Friday Grab Bags

Hi everyone! I finally got my Elle's Studio Grab Bags from Black Friday after they were lost in the mail for a few days. I started using them right away! The grab bags were STUFFED with awesome goodies!

I had a picture from about 2011 I think of my boyfriend and I after we made a homemade slip n' slide in our backyard.
I love using bright colors for outdoor layouts. Split backgrounds are always fun but the middle of the layout need something a little more so I layered a couple pieces of paper and used a border punch from Fiskars on one of them.

Outlining papers always brings everything together so I outlined everything except for the larger background paper.

There are seven clusters of embellishments total including my title. They're from various collections from Elle's Studio.

In this close up I'm showing some of the clusters up close and the thread that I tucked underneath in random places.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week!
