Always & Forever Layout

Hi everyone! Today is my first day back posting to my blog since my dad passed away. I find it a little comforting to scrapbook pictures of him. It does make me sad, but it helps.

Last week on Facebook, Pebbles Inc. was doing a giveaway and I won the whole We Go Together collection. So I made a layout for my mom for Valentine's Day.

I did a small split background. Then did another split in the middle with strips of paper and American Crafts glitter tape.

The collection came with these rosette hearts that are so cute! I used a punch and layered some hearts on top with an enamel candy heart. One of the hearts is a self inking stamp that was part of the collection. I stamped it down a few times and cut them out. I love the faded look it gives when stamped.

The I love You is an epoxy word that I put down right on the picture then used the Thickers for the rest of the title. I layered up hearts and stapled them together with one epoxy heart on top and placed them in three different places on the layout.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day!

4th of July

I know I'm a little late with 4th of July layouts... but I still have pictures left over that I needed to get done! So here's a layout about the beautiful fireworks we watched. I also used a sketch from Let's Get Sketchy.

I turned the sketch to the left one time and put the embellishment cluster to the left of the picture. I also decided to tilt everything a little to the right. I thought it looked nice with the photo strip of pictures I made.

I used the Pebbles Americana collection to create this layout.

I loved the sketch but it was a little simple so I added another embellishment cluster to the bottom right hand side. I have these little tooth pick flags I got at a flea market a couple years back that a lady hand made herself. I put the tag up on pop dots and slid the tooth pick flag right underneath.

At Hobby Lobby I had gotten a sticker pack of gemstone sayings and designs. I used the 4th of July one for my title. I decided to also move my title to the left of the photo.

Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a great week!

Red, White and Blue

Today I am sharing two layouts I made using the Pebbles Americana collection.

I absolutely love red white and blue layouts with a touch of wood grain!

Here is a close up of my favorite part of the layout. The little polaroid with chevron vellum, a few stars and some rub ons.

This layout uses the same collection from Pebbles but a lot less embellishing.
I thought for this one that the papers and sewing were going to be the main points so I used less embellishments. I chose to go with three different colors of thread (red, white, blue)  for my sewing around all the banners, then just red sewing around the bottom and top strips.

I love the sewing on this layout, I feel it really brings everything together and the white background really makes the layout pop.

Thank you so much for looking! Have a great week!
