Oh So Fancy

Hello everyone! Happy Wednesday! Today I have a layout to share of my friends are I doing a photo shoot at my cabin. I used the Simple Stories So Fancy collection.

To start this layout I took the Fancy paper for my background. I love everything that was going on at the bottom of the layout, which made me decide to try and mimic the same for the top of the layout. 

So here's what the top of the layout looks like up close ↕ in the top and lower picture. I used my favorite scallop punch and a strip of the backside of the Too Cute paper, with the punch, and a piece of the Too Cute paper for the top strip. 

Then layered some ephemera pieces to bring in the clusters from the bottom half. 

The title was done using the word Fancy on the background paper, then I added the alpha from the Alphabet Sticker sheet, the ampersand is an ephemera piece along with the So Lovely banner. 

Around the photo, I added a banner with the date on it, new SS Bradz, enamel dots and an acrylic Geo Tag. Then, in the top corner of the photo, I put the ever so cute dream catcher. I wanted to use it so bad, it's my favorite item in the Bits and Pieces pack.

Fall Layout

Hello everyone! Today I have a layout to share quickly. I haven't taken any close ups, but you can see everything pretty well.

I used the Carta Bella Fall Blessings collection. For the leaves at the top and bottom of the layout, I used a stamp set, Versa Mark ink and multiple colors of embossing powders. Then cut them all out by hand. I did the same with the leaves that are falling on the page. 

I cut the title banner out of the borders sheet, and cut the large journaling spot out of the 4x6 cards.

Dandelion Layout

Hi everyone! Today I have a layout to share of my friends and I at my cabin. We found a huge dandelion out in the forest and decided to take pictures of us blowing it.

I used the Dear Lizzy Serendipity collection for this layout. For my split background, I used a piece of white cardstock and one of the patterned papers. Then placed a border in the center and at the top. 

I picked a few of my favorite pieces from the ephemera pack to layer to the right side of the photo. The LIFE wood veneer pieces aren't from the same collection, I think they're from Teresa Collins, along with the sequins I used on the white cardstock.

The border at the top is a piece of patterned paper with the backside of manufacturers strip still attached. For the word love, I put a chipboard heart in place of the O and a little enamel dot on the edge.

Under the photo is a water color word from the collection. I glued it down in two spots so it has a floating look to it.
