Travel Layout

I'm on a roll this week with layouts to share! I went to TJ Maxx the other day and they had whole collections from MME for $10! So I got the Kate and Co collection and the Now and Then Milo collection.

My friend is crazy sometimes. We were at Venice Beach in California and it was freezing. So instead of swimming in the ocean she decided she was going to make sand angels. When she got up she was covered in sand!

I love the silver foil so I used a few pieces here. For the title I used Jillibean Soup Beanboard alphas in Newburg Navy.

I know the little enamel mustache really has nothing to do with this layout, I just loved it and wanted to add a little yellow to this side of the layout. Then did my journaling to finish the layout.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!

Layout using Simple Stories I Am collection

Happy Tuesday! I hope everyone's week is going good so far! Today I have a layout to share of my boyfriend and I just hanging out.

I started by grabbing a piece of textured white cardstock that had these little specks of blue and pink randomly throughout the page. The cut large strips of paper, each one smaller than the next.

I outlined the three large strips and the layers but didn't outline the white cardstock.

I wanted to add this cute bow stamp to the layout so I used my Black Heidi Swapp ink and stamped it onto plain white cardstock then cut it out.

The title was done using Jillibean Soup Beanboard alphas in Tart Teal and some Teresa Collins gold glitter puffy stickers I recently got at the CKCscrapbook convention. Then added some splatters to finish the layout.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week!

Too Cute to Spook layout

I haven't been scrapping my Halloween pictures from this year yet. I finally started printing them off to scrap.

This year we took the girls to my friends neighborhood and it was hopping! Kids everywhere! The girls made out with so much candy!
For this layout I used the Scraptastic October Thriller kit and add on.

To the right of the layout I put a two inch strip of paper from the Simple Stories Frankie and Friends collection and some Jillibean Soup Witches Brew Pea Pod Parts. The kit came with some Jillibean Soup Beanboard Alphas in purple and I bought the black ones from www.Scrapbook.com to use with the kit also.

I didn't do any layers in this layout, Just a simple mat behind the photos and some embellishments.

I did my journaling sideways along the edge of that Simple Stories paper then added some splatters and enamel stars.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week!

October 2011

October 2011

Today I have a Halloween layout to share! I bought the Thriller kit from Scraptastic thinking I would use it for this years Halloween photos, but I couldn't wait any longer!

I love the colorful diagonal stripe paper from Authentique, but thought it was a little too bold as a background. So I matted black cardstock on top. I used lots of bits and pieces from the Jillibean Soup Owloween Pea Pods and the Jillibean Soup Witches Brew Pea Pods to layer on top of the Bella Blvd. cut apart paper.

I stamped the spider web down in white Prima ink and then did a couple splatters with my Mister Huey's Opaque White. Then added a few enamel dots here and there.

Here's a close up of my layer cluster. There were so many fun Halloween themed items in the kit, I wanted to use them all!

My favorite part of this layout is where I stamped the cute spider from the Scraptastic Thriller stamp set. I embossed the little spider in purple Stampendous embossing powder.

Thank you for stopping by! Have a wonderful week!
